Upskilling for Success

The event will be formally opened by the Scottish Government Minister for Schools and Skills, Keith Brown MSP

Skills development will play a vital role in enabling SMEs, the wider world of commerce, public sector and third sector organisations to become stronger, more efficient and innovative, leading to a more secure and yet dynamic economy, able to hold its own against global competition.

Yet, how do you assess what your training needs are, source the best training providers and deliver the training, at minimum expenditure of your time, resources and finances?

In response to this challenge Public Service Partnership is staging ‘Scotland Skills 09: Upskilling for Success’ in October 2009.

The event will:
Educate and inform visitors from all organisations of the options available to upskill themselves and/or their employees and ensure they become more competitive and productive than ever before.

Explain the routes to funding for skills.

Scotland Skills 09, a free to attend event, for the first time brings together the best skills training providers Scotland has to offer to provide practical advice, support and guidance.
